If you are as thorough as possible, meaning if you answer every possible question a user could have about your content, you will appear higher in the search results on search engines like Google or Bing. A good way to examine if you have been thorough enough is to visit your site as a user and attempt to get all the info or perform your sites act as a user. If you have found everything you need and you do not need to leave your site as a user to complete your task you are likely thorough enough on your site. Keywords are often an important part of this process as well, for example; if your site is selling something online, it would be smart to include keywords around people search for when they are looking to buy something online.
  2. Optimize your title tag and meta descriptions. These are the first impressions users have with your site and is one of the largest factors that create traffic for your site. Include keywords in sentences that are easy to read that draws users in. You can think of the title tag as the fishing hook and the description as a lure or bait that draws users into viewing your site.
  3. Utilize Google's tools intended for SEO. Google search console is an extremely useful tool that can give you important analytics including, where the majority of your traffic is coming from and impressions your site receives, meaning who sees your site in search results. This tool can help you to optimize your site in that what gives you the most clicks should be further utilized and what doesn't perform as well needs changing.
